This is a handcrafted item and as such there may be slight imperfections in the enclosure finish.

Please note that, like any other vintage pedal with a positive ground circuit, this pedal must NOT be used with a daisy chain power adapter, as it will cause a short circuit!

Make sure to power it with either an isolated or standalone power supply - do NOT use a daisy chain!

What Do AM Effects Say?

The Germanium Treble Booster is my personal take on the classic positive-ground Rangemaster Treble Booster circuit. Each pedal is built around carefully selected vintage germanium transistors, meticulously tested to meet strict specifications for gain, leakage, and noise.

While the tonal heart of the circuit stays true to the original design, I've made a few enhancements to improve reliability: additional power filtering ensures low noise levels when used with an isolated power supply, and anti-pop resistors eliminate unwanted noise when the pedal is engaged. I also use a wider-range potentiometer, so you have more control over the gain level.

All of this comes housed in a powder coated Gorva C65 enclosure. Whether you're chasing the iconic tones of the '60s or looking to add character to a modern setup, this pedal delivers a dynamic response and warm overdrive tones that cut through the mix beautifully.

When placed first in your signal chain, it cleans up gracefully with your guitar's volume knob and can push a cranked amp to a whole new level.
