If you want to truly sound like Slowdive, then The Slowdriver from UK based boutique pedal brand Emmergy FX is what you need!

But this is no ordinary Slowdriver. While it is still the same fuzz distortion circuit of the standard form pedal; albeit with black glass diode upgrades, this version was specially designed for Christian Savill, the guitarist of Slowdive.

Slowdive are a British rock band best known for their ambient and shoegaze music, and The Slowdriver in it's standard form is also used by Neil Halstead who is the bands lead vocalist and guitarist.

This limited edition 'Christian' Slowdriver comes complete with custom artwork by Luz de Liebre that was specifically requested and endorsed by Christian, and is in fact the exact same pedal that he uses on his own board.

Limited to ONLY 5 pedals Worldwide, each pedal is hand made, hand numbered and come with a signed Polaroid of Christian holding his own exact Slowdriver pedal.

Controls

Volume – Not a lot to say here. Sets the final volume of the pedal sent to your amp.
Pregain – sets the amount of input gain fed into the circuit.
Gain – sets the amount of transistor gain.
Filter – lifted straight from the original RAT circuit the filter allows for a wide variety of sounds to suit all players.
Clipping switch – offers clipping from the original silicon diodes or the more open feel of a matched pair of blue LEDs
