At its core, Orbits is a true granular delay and sampler, offering an adjustable buffer of up to 20 seconds. That means you’re not just repeating notes, you’re capturing moments and tearing them apart into grains that can be reshaped, re-pitched, reversed and reassembled into entirely new textures.

The Freeze function locks the current audio in the buffer, allowing you to process it endlessly. Once frozen, the Scrub control lets you move through different positions in the sample, uncovering hidden fragments and evolving soundscapes from a single chord or phrase.

Grain size, speed and regeneration are fully adjustable. Dial in ultra-fast, short grains for near-tremolo shimmer. Stretch them into evolving delays. Push further and you’re deep into expansive ambient territory. Playback modes allow all-forward, all-reverse or random reverse behaviour, while pitch options introduce original tone, random octave up, or octave up-and-down movement for constantly shifting textures.

An expression input controls the master clock speed, shifting the entire wet signal up or down by roughly an octave for dramatic, whammy-like sweeps and warped transitions.

With stereo input and output via TRS jacks, Orbits integrates seamlessly into modern stereo rigs and ambient setups. It thrives in experimental pedalboards but is equally inspiring in studio environments.
