The Universal Audio Enigmatic ’82 Overdrive Special Amp puts the magic of the mythical D-Style Overdrive Special right on your pedalboard. With over 30 years of rare amp evolution perfectly emulated, it delivers the touch sensitivity, harmonic richness, and dynamic response that made these boutique amps some of the most sought-after in history.

Whether you’re chasing expressive lead tones or tight, punchy rhythm sounds, the Enigmatic ’82 gives you incredible flexibility with Rock and Jazz voicings, along with Classic and Skyline tone stacks and an HRM overdrive EQ. In Custom Mode, you can build your own D-Style amp configuration, tailoring your sound exactly how you want it.

To take things even further, the Enigmatic ’82 includes nine classic mic/speaker pairings drawn from legendary sessions, giving you studio ready tones straight from your pedalboard. Pair it with the UAFX Control mobile app to explore artist presets, unlock deeper customisation, and refine your sound for stage or recording.
