What Do Revelation Cable Co. Say?

The White Gold Tweed Instrument Cable uses the Sommer SC-Spirit XXL as its base. It comes with G&H gold connectors with gold housing but with the addition of White Gold MDPC sleeving. The transparent smoke jacket can be seen through the sleeving giving the appearance of a tweed design. The White Gold Tweed has a vintage vibe that would goes well with any guitar but especially guitars with a classic look. The SC-Spirit XXL has an AWG of 18 which is one of the thickest conductors Revelation Cable offers.

You find nothing but the best at Pedal jungle. I was so impressed by Revelation cable co’s patch cables I had to give the instrument cable a try. The jack connection locks into the female socket so well I thought I was going to need my crowbar to get it back out again. And doing a straight plug in to the amp sound quality test between my old instrument cable. I can hear the difference between them. And the Revelation cable wins hands down.

Perfect always on sparkle

The Donut Hole Overdrive is a bluesbreaker type overdrive - from light sparkle to a great sounding overdrive, this pedal is well made and does what it should. It will clean up if you back off your volume knob, and stays transparent throughout the range of settings.

I personally love it as an always on "sparkle" - it's a definitely a permanent addition, and has actually replaced a compressor and another overdrive on my board.

A lot of those pedals are new to me, so I have learnt about them while reading 😊

Interesting but a bit short

I did enjoy this, but felt it could have been longer, or gone into more detail about effects stacking in general as opposed to the quite specific examples mentioned. It consists almost entirely of interviews from boutique pedal manufacturers - while this is definitely better than just hearing about the usual suspects, of course each one is biased towards their own products. It is useful to have their perspectives, but it doesn’t quite meet the brief for anyone who doesn’t have those specific pedals - which I imagine would be most readers! I think the main takeaway is really that you have to experiment based on your own style, and preferences.
