The MOSFET Boost is an effect you can DIY with that is comparable to a Jack Orman MOSFET Boost, and the Cir-Kit Component bag includes all the required parts for breadboarding the effect that you will need; such as capacitors, pre-cut wire, potentiometers and semiconductors, and are fully compatible with all of the CopperSound Pedals Breadboards that can be found here.
Each Cir-Kit Component features a comprehensive build guide to get you going and on the right track.

Having watched the JHS Short Circuit series on YouTube over the summer, I took the plunge and ordered a CopperSound breadboard and the LPB-1-Boost-A-Drive-A-Fuzz to try my hand at some pedal building. A fun activity and some good sounds from the completed kit! Just be mindful that the included switch does require some soldering, so the kit is not all just plugin components (although the circuit can still operate without the switch being included if you do not have soldering equipment available).

I went with the 'medium' sized CopperSound breadboard to ensure I had enough room for my build and I am glad I did as I can space out the kit components a little more and still have plenty of room for making changes and modifications to find new sounds.
