The Bigfoot Engineering Trouble Booster XL is a rarer previous version of the pedal in it's XL format, that was engineered in a striking Midnight Blue finish with an extra gain knob for even more tone sculpting control.

At its core, the Trouble Booster XL is built around hand selected NOS germanium transistors, giving it the unmistakable warmth and harmonic saturation of vintage boosters like the Dallas Rangemaster and Greg Fryer Treble Booster, famously used by Brian May of Queen and players chasing that iconic AC30 Top Boost chime.

What sets the XL apart is its enhanced gain structure and switchable Bright/Normal voicing modes. Bright mode delivers the tight, cutting attack and singing midrange beloved by classic rock players, while Normal mode fattens things up for a fuller, more overdriven tone reminiscent of Billy Gibbons and the gritty swagger of ZZ Top.

This is a 'used' pedal, in our Grade 4 Excellent condition, with no real signs of use, but it doesn't come with the original box, candy or manual.

Durham Zia Drive

The Durham Electronics Zia Drive has been on my gigging board for many years.
It is perfect for vibrant chord playing and punches through the mix. The original one I had was replaced by this one from Pedal Jungle, after looking for one for quite some time. They are now hard to source in Europe. I have corresponded with Al Durham (Texas) and he has event built me a pedal, the Zia Drive is his best for my purposes, it just sounds like an extension of the amp.

Super cool Zonk!

I enjoy the zonk sound and this really has few extras up its sleeve with the filter and bias controls. Filter sculpts the low end as fuzz can have "too much" or not enough, it means you can control "fattness". Bias has a range of sounds available from spitting gated fuzz or girthy full on fuzz. Spectacular find and utterly love the design and size of it. Plays with single coils or humbuckers! Choose your weapon and have fun!
