The Dophix Galileo Optical Tremolo takes inspiration from one of history’s greatest innovators, Galileo Galilei, to deliver a groundbreaking approach to tremolo tone. Entirely analogue and optical, this pedal captures the natural, fluid modulation of vintage tremolo units while offering modern flexibility through tap tempo and full modulation control.

At its core, Galileo features a high quality photodiode and analogue oscillator, producing an ultra smooth tremolo wave that preserves your guitar’s dynamics and character without unwanted distortion or harshness. The result is a natural, organic pulse that feels alive under your fingers; from subtle movement to deep, hypnotic amplitude modulation.

The control layout gives you complete command of your modulation rate, depth, and wave shape, letting you sculpt your sound with precision. The dual true bypass footswitches; GO for engaging the effect and TAP for real-time tempo adjustment, make the Galileo ideal for both live performance and studio use. A pair of intuitive LED indicators provides visual feedback for tempo and status, ensuring easy operation even on dark stages.

Built in Florence, Italy, and meticulously hand assembled, the Galileo reflects Dophix’s signature blend of vintage tone and boutique innovation.
