Introducing The Vault #001 - Our World Exclusive and Limited Edition Collector's Series.

For Vault #001 we have The Later And Later Triple Deluxe from UK based boutique pedal brand Emmergy FX, which is a versatile, crazy and dirty delay pedal that will descend into a turmoil of distortion akin to a hurricane; it's not your standard delay by any means!

But this is no ordinary Later And Later, this is the Triple Deluxe version! While it is still 'nearly' the same delay with added gain circuit of the standard form pedal; this version has a completely different LFO style circuit on the two switches and depth/rate knobs, and is 'Slowdive' inspired and endorsed by Christian Savill, the guitarist of Slowdive.

Slowdive are a British rock band best known for their ambient and shoegaze music, and The Later And Later is shoegaze in a pedal, and so much more; plus Christian even has one of these exact pedals too (check out the picture!)

This limited edition and world exclusive Christian Savill endorsed Later And Later comes complete with custom artwork by Luz de Liebre that pays homage to Slowdive.

The Vault #001 is Limited to ONLY 10 pedals Worldwide (11 if you count Christian's!) and each pedal is hand made, hand numbered and also come with an A4 print of the pedal artwork signed by Christian himself, which is also hand numbered!

As with all Vault packages, a hand numbered and signed (by us) 'Certificate of Authenticity' will be included, to make things more official and collectable.

You know what a versatile and crazy pedal this is. Not just your standard delay

We think the Later and Later is awesome. It may be 'just a clone' of the Mad Professor deep blue analogue delay in it's basic design, but what’s that you say? We’ve added we've added a gain pot? ... and that is where the magic happens.

If you want a clean delay set it to zero. Want a dirty delay then turn it to full. It will start to create feedback even with the repeats quite low. With the repeats up high it goes nuts, turn the repeats down to zero and the gain up and it becomes an overdrive/fuzz.

Well we say an overdrive/fuzz, but what we really mean is a turmoil of distortion akin to a hurricane, waves of noise which quickly degrade into squealing feedback. Not your typical delay indeed.

On top of all of this we provide the ability to control time using and expression pedal or CV input which can turn a light slapback delay into a gnarly noisefest underfoot ranging from broken tape warbles through to alien rectal examination sounds. Prepare to be abductedIt's really rather good. I could probably do a full on ambient/metal gig with just three of these and a reverb.

Controls

LEVEL: Sets the volume of the first repeat. From there the repeats will automatically fade in volume.

TIME: There are three ways to control the TIME (distance between repeats) Using the TIME knob, using the force to effect TIME on the flay and via the use of an expression pedal

GAIN: Want to get mental?! Turn this until the pedal squeals uncontrollably, then let some crazy out of control fuzz rip

REPEATS: At it's minimum you will get a single clear slapback style repeat, turn clockwise for more repeats to dial in the right flavour. There is also a force pad for repeats.

MOD: A 3 way switch that turns on the modulation that you can set with or without the delay

WAVE: This switch changes the modulation wave from square wave on the right to sine wave on the left

DEPTH: Set how much the signal is mutilated by the modulation, dial in for the perfect amount. This allows for a variety of sounds including a chorus like effect through to hostile choppy slurs of chewed up tape

SPEED: Sets the frequency of the modulation from slow at full anticlockwise to incredibly fast at full clockwise

CHAOS: Who doesn't want a chaos pad?! Be warned though, pressing this hard will create madness at a massively increased volume. Try tapping the pad to create a high pitched chirping sound. Or press lightly and allow ambient washes of creative chaos to tumble over your guitar and turn everything into a dreamscape
