The Electro-Harmonix Cock Fight Plus takes the squawk and sizzle of classic wah pedals and launches it into experimental territory with a built in fuzz circuit and twin filter voicing. Whether you're into retro wah-fuzz mayhem or vowel shaped sonic exploration, this pedal delivers rich, expressive tones with modern versatility baked in.

Offering up the award-winning tone of the original Cock Fight but housed in a lightweight, road ready enclosure with a traditional rack-and-pinion treadle, it feels immediately familiar underfoot. But once you dive in, you’ll quickly realise the Cock Fight Plus isn’t your average wah. It features two selectable filter types, a classic wah filter for traditional sweep and a formant filter that mimics human vowel sounds, adding a vocal, almost talkbox-like character to your tone.

At the heart of the Cock Fight Plus is a dynamic fuzz circuit, which can be placed before or after the filter for dramatically different textures, or bypassed completely if you want to use it strictly as a wah.

From psychedelic leads to experimental riffs and gritty funk tones, this is a wah pedal that pushes boundaries. Durham Zia Drive

The Durham Electronics Zia Drive has been on my gigging board for many years.
It is perfect for vibrant chord playing and punches through the mix. The original one I had was replaced by this one from Pedal Jungle, after looking for one for quite some time. They are now hard to source in Europe. I have corresponded with Al Durham (Texas) and he has event built me a pedal, the Zia Drive is his best for my purposes, it just sounds like an extension of the amp.

Super cool Zonk!

I enjoy the zonk sound and this really has few extras up its sleeve with the filter and bias controls. Filter sculpts the low end as fuzz can have "too much" or not enough, it means you can control "fattness". Bias has a range of sounds available from spitting gated fuzz or girthy full on fuzz. Spectacular find and utterly love the design and size of it. Plays with single coils or humbuckers! Choose your weapon and have fun!
