The Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay is a modern revival of one of EHX’s most coveted vintage circuits; the original 1980 Tape Reverse Simulator. Designed to recreate the illusion of playing tape backwards, the Attack Decay delivers volume swells, reverse style textures, bowed instrument tones, staccato pulses, ambient pads and experimental sound design in a single expressive box.

This updated version takes everything players loved about the original and adds a huge amount of flexibility. Choose Mono mode for classic single envelope swells that reset with each new note, or switch to Poly mode to give each individual note its own envelope, unlocking fluid chord swells, lush pads and inspiring ambient movement.

A built in Harmonix fuzz circuit transforms the swelling envelope into rich, violin like sustain or gritty bowed string effects, now upgraded with full Gain, Tone and Volume controls. An onboard effects loop lets you place any pedal; delay, reverb, chorus, filters, dirt, inside the envelope, letting the Attack Decay shape whatever sound you feed it.

With full expression/CV control, adjustable Attack and Decay times, and three recallable presets, the modern Attack Decay becomes a powerful performance tool for ambient players, experimental guitarists and tone hunters who want something completely different from traditional compression or volume pedal swells.

From backwards tape dreamscapes to chopped staccato riffs, swelling drones and violin like leads, the Attack Decay is a creative playground built to inspire.

This is a 'used' pedal, in our Grade 5 Mint condition, hardly used and comes with all the original packaging and power lead.

Durham Zia Drive

The Durham Electronics Zia Drive has been on my gigging board for many years.
It is perfect for vibrant chord playing and punches through the mix. The original one I had was replaced by this one from Pedal Jungle, after looking for one for quite some time. They are now hard to source in Europe. I have corresponded with Al Durham (Texas) and he has event built me a pedal, the Zia Drive is his best for my purposes, it just sounds like an extension of the amp.

Super cool Zonk!

I enjoy the zonk sound and this really has few extras up its sleeve with the filter and bias controls. Filter sculpts the low end as fuzz can have "too much" or not enough, it means you can control "fattness". Bias has a range of sounds available from spitting gated fuzz or girthy full on fuzz. Spectacular find and utterly love the design and size of it. Plays with single coils or humbuckers! Choose your weapon and have fun!
