The Marshall Drive Master is a true vintage gem, originally released in 1992 as part of Marshall’s second generation pedal lineup alongside the Bluesbreaker and Shredmaster.

This unit was hand built in the U.K during the 1990s, this pedal has since become a highly sought after collectible thanks to its unmistakable Marshall tone and rugged reliability.

Designed as a refined successor to the original Guv’nor, the Drive Master simplified the circuit while adding more gain in the lower frequencies, delivering a tighter and more aggressive distortion response. With its powerful three-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), guitarists have access to highly detailed tone shaping - from warm, bluesy overdrive to cutting, high-gain distortion that slices through any mix.

Built in the iconic heavy duty black enclosure, the DriveMaster is as tough as it is musical, offering the same road ready durability that Marshall gear is famous for. This is a 'used' pedal, in our Grade 3 good condition, with some minor signs of use, and some patches of velcro on the back. It also doesn't come with the original box or manual.

Durham Zia Drive

The Durham Electronics Zia Drive has been on my gigging board for many years.
It is perfect for vibrant chord playing and punches through the mix. The original one I had was replaced by this one from Pedal Jungle, after looking for one for quite some time. They are now hard to source in Europe. I have corresponded with Al Durham (Texas) and he has event built me a pedal, the Zia Drive is his best for my purposes, it just sounds like an extension of the amp.

Super cool Zonk!

I enjoy the zonk sound and this really has few extras up its sleeve with the filter and bias controls. Filter sculpts the low end as fuzz can have "too much" or not enough, it means you can control "fattness". Bias has a range of sounds available from spitting gated fuzz or girthy full on fuzz. Spectacular find and utterly love the design and size of it. Plays with single coils or humbuckers! Choose your weapon and have fun!
